Club Statement - SWALEC Plate Elimination

The Welsh Rugby Union has determined to eliminate Llangennech RFC from the 2015-16 SWALEC Plate Competition, and Cwmllynfell RFC have been declared the winners of the Tie played at Llangennech on Thursday, 17th. March, 2016.
 
Due to misunderstandings of competition rules on Llangennech RFC's part, two ineligible players took part in the game, and this was brought to the Welsh Rugby Union's attention. 
 
Llangennech RFC would apologise to the Welsh Rugby Union, Cwmllynfell RFC, Llangennech's Patrons and Members, and others involved for this error.
 
Lessons have been learnt from this episode and we will ensure that such an error will not be repeated in the future.
 
The Club wishes Cwmllynfell RFC good luck in the next round of the Competition.
